Our 2024-2025 Annual Report: Celebrating our first year of impact

Oncogene Cancer Research was created because people living with oncogene-driven lung cancers need more: more time, more information, more research and more support.

In our first year, we established Oncogene Cancer Research as a patient- and family-led charity rooted in lived experience, scientific curiosity and collaboration. We built a growing community, shared patient stories and medically reviewed education to support shared decision making, and ensured patient voices were represented in research and clinical conversations.

Alongside this, we raised just under £59,000 in our first financial year — laying the foundations for our first research seed grants and future investment in oncogene-driven lung cancer research. This annual report reflects both what we have built in our first year and our commitment to accelerate progress in the years ahead.
